Celebrating International Women’s Day: Supporting Families with a British Baby Box!

As we mark International Women’s Day 2025, we take a moment to reflect on how far we have come, celebrate our achievements, and look forward to an exciting future.

At British Baby Box, our passion has always been to support families by providing a safe, sustainable, and accessible place for baby to sleep.

Over the past year, we have continued to make a significant impact and are proud to share our progress with you.

The past year has been one of growth, innovation, and dedication. Here are some of the key milestones we’ve achieved:

🌟 Expanded Our Reach – We successfully partnered with more NHS Trusts, Charities & Local Authorities across the UK, to ensure more families have access to our British Baby Boxes. Every baby deserves the best start in life, and we are committed to making that a reality.

🌍 Sustainability Initiatives – We made significant strides in enhancing our eco-friendly practices. Our Baby Boxes are made in Britain from sustainable materials, reinforcing our commitment to better and protect our environment.

🤝 Community Support – Through our partnerships, we have provided Baby Boxes to families in need, helping parents who may be facing financial or social challenges.

📢 Advocacy & Awareness – We have actively campaigned for safer sleep and are supported by the fact that our Baby Boxes adhere to the first ever British Baby Box Standard – BS11130:2021.

As we continue throughout 2025, momentum for providing Baby Boxes continues to grow.

💡 National Roll out of Baby Boxes – We have partnered with The Children’s Foundation and have established a National Baby Box Steering Group Committee. The dedicated and experienced panel will ensure we build on what we have already achieved. Watch this space…

🌱 Furthering Sustainability – Our goal is to make British Baby Box 100% recyclable and even more environmentally friendly, setting new industry benchmarks for sustainable baby products.

💞 Expanding Our Community Efforts – We plan to reach out to more organisations/families, to ensure every baby receives the best start in life, no matter their circumstances.

We are two Mums, with six children between us. We run a successful company, whilst balancing being parents. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved so far. We support each other, we are strong, resilient, and passionate.

For those of you women reading this post today, believe in yourself because we have learnt that anything is possible!  We will continue to champion the well-being of babies and families, and we are excited for what the future holds.
